I hate myself for picking Jake Paul but this is clearly a set up as Ben Askren was a great wrestler but his striking was poor. This is gonna be sad.

Jake Paul has been hand selecting his opponents very carefully while dodging actual strikers that would be interested in the bout. Constantly calling out grapplers to fight in a boxing match, we can only hope after he knocks out Askren he will step up to the task of fighting someone with some hands. Askren was a terrible striker imo and now his hands will be padded. Youth and power are on the side of Paul and Askren's chin is compromised at this stage.

Agree 100%! If he wants to be taken seriously as a boxer (which is probably the least of his concerns, all he cares about is money and attention) then he should start fighting actual boxers. If I had my way about it, I'd throw him in with Usyk just to see him get ****** up but he'd never agree to that unfortunately.
