Islam vs who?? UFC 300 would make this just a 3 month turnaround, which is quick for the high ranked lws. If Poirier/BSD really put on a performance in March I could see the winner getting a sneaky title shot.

I'm 90% sure Dana said he wanted this to be the "greatest Fight Night ever", I know he's promoting but still

I'm not sure if they would put Islam or the 155 title no matter who had it on a fight night. I think the card will be much better than the original March card since Ramadan will be over after April.

I just wonder how much they are willing to stack the card for a fight night non PPV

I would be pissed if I was a Saudi and Islam wasn't on it but I see why they wouldn't put the title on the line here too. Money talks so we'll have to see how loud the Saudi's are talking

Islam wont figth on a non PPV card. Rakmonov vs Covington or Chimaev vs Cannonier headlining make sens.

@Hyrm
I've loved Chimaev/Cannonier ever since Chimaev's coach "leaked" that he was his 294 opponent (obviously that didn't end up happening)
I gotta ride with my boy Cannonier especially if it's 5 rounds.

I was thinking the same as u did.

Main Card:
Khamzat vs Izzy/Cannonier headliner.
Umar vs Sandhagen co-main event.
Amir Albazi vs Winner of Royval/Moreno maybe (since Moreno was scheduled to face Amir till Amir pulled out)
Mokaev vs KKF (If Mokaev gets through Perez easily)
Tagir vs Matt Schnell
Shara Bullet vs Dustin Stoltzfus

Shara Bullet

Predictions: 5 of 13 Pending   |   Tied for 1st with 928 others

I want to see Shara fight again too. However going from fighting Bruno Silva to Dustin Stoltzfus makes little sense. Silva is clearly a top 25 middleweight in the UFC when Stoltzfus might not be top 50. Wherever they are actually ranked, this does seem like a match up the UFC would make.

I would like to see Shara against Curtis, which would be fireworks. Or test him against someone with a different skill set like Muniz. A really fun fight would be Shara and Abdul Razak Alhassan

Based off Shara's last performance, I wouldn't put him against higher caliber opposition.

His terrible takedown defense and ground game against top 20 middleweights could put him in lots of trouble. Therefore, he needs a bit higher than average opponent like Stoltzfus.

I was going to say put him against Alhassan which might be a better test for him.

Thanks bud! Give me yours.

Edit: I would instead book Ikram as the main card opener against the winner of Costa/Whittaker or Chris Curtis and have Shara on the last prelim fight which sounds more realistic.

Maybe Shamil Gaziev could win March 2nd and turn around and fight here?

@diana

If Gaziev can get past Bigi Boi releatively unscathed than I could definitely see him fighting Derrick Lewis on this card.

Gaziev could probably have a quick turnaround and face Spivac which would be better than Lewis since the latter is always a danger for those up and comers in the division just like what happened to De Lima.

Adesanya vs Khamzat is the fight to make in my opinion. It meets the expectations regarding star power that the Saudis have towards the UFC and Adesanya doesn't deserve another immediate shot at the title anyways.

Adesanya is a top 3 draw in the UFC's eyes now. As cool as it would be I doubt they put him on a non PPV. Sucks but it is what it is. His last non PPV was 5 and a half years ago.
