I think that this is a pretty bad matchup for Ilia. He really exposes his lead leg when he advances and he is prone to getting it torn up by Volk. He also leaves his head way too exposed whenever he's targeting the body, like in his fight against Bryce Mitchell for example. I believe that Volk will end up dropping him and will end it via ground and pound in round 3.

Ortega had nothing for Volk on the feet and had to reinvent himself after that fight in the realm of standup.
Ilia has super slick boxing, defense and power that Ortega will never have.
